Getting ready to go!

We’ve been playing house for a few days now.  While we were eating lunch in it today we tried Sweet Pea out on the sofa.  Looks like she is quite content.

We also have been doing a little organizing.  We discovered that our bins from the shop fit perfectly into our wardrobe closet. We have another wardrobe closet (small) in the bedroom so this area will be a great place for the bins.  While we were waiting on this camper, I kept thinking I might not have enough storage but I’m finding out we have a ton of room.  I still have the area over the bed empty.  Speaking of the bed……

Earlier this week I made this bedspread specifically for the camper.  We normally have down comforters and quilts piled on the bed, but it’s always so sloppy looking in a small area.  We can get away with that white fluffy look in our bedroom at home, but the camper called for something different.  As you can see I made it so that it is very fitted.  Because I used decorator weight fabric layered with a poly/cotton batting with just a white cotton on the bottom, it weighs down all the lumps from the comforter nicely.  We’ve gotten quite a lot of attention for this bedspread on a Winnebago FB page we are on (120 likes and 20 comments) so I just might add this to our offerings in our business.  We’re still planning out the details but I think there might be a market for these.  Getting booths at RV shows to display these might not be too hard of a gig lol…
